Once upon a time, there was a girl named Maxi.

She grew up in the heartlands of the gummy candy universe: Germany.

In Germany, gummy is less of a candy and more of a lifestyle.

But time and the winds of change led to Maxi living & working in 
The Big Apple.

Though she was thousands of miles away, feeling at home was only as far as the nearest bag of gummy candy.

The universe, however, had other plans… One day, Maxi’s doctor diagnosed her with an auto-immune condition, which came with a not-so-happy directive:

But Maxi didn’t despair! No! She laughed a häppy laugh in the universe's face, and used her heritage, history and heart to create the best gummy candy ever.
